Professional Issues

It is important that our students will in their future careers behave as professional Computer Scientists. Therefore part of our undergraduate curriculum is concerned with making sure that they are aware of the legal, social, ethical and professional issues associated with the role of being a Computer Scientist.

The department uses as a starting point for this the ethical guidelines provided by both the British Computer Society and the Association for Computing Machinery.

ACM Code of Ethics
