About the advice given

"In my opinion, students should use the service as not only do you get access to help sheets; graduate magazines and advice, which is all free of charge, but I believe that some of the advice I received gave me an edge in subsequent interviews." (BA History)

"My advice to anyone who is serious about job hunting is to go and speak to the careers service – your confidence and employment prospects will skyrocket. I think the best thing about it is the individual attention you receive" (BA Management)

"The most helpful aspect of the careers service was a practice interview I had, where I was given advice that helped me succeed at the interview stage. Following this stage, I was invited to the assessment centre stage, where again - the help from the Careers Service was available. All the support and advice I got from the Careers Service really made a difference and helped me get the job I actually wanted." (BA Management)
