Wednesday 18th January 2017: 11.30am-2.30pm
Students' Union Main Hall
Who will be there?
We're currently inviting employers to the fair, so keep an eye out for updates! Here's a list of employers who have already confirmed their attendance:
- Student Recruitment (Student Ambassador roles)
- Community Action
- Human Resources
Please note, this may be subject to change. We try our best to let you know if an employer has dropped out as soon as possible.
Frequently asked questions
How should I prepare?
- Do some extra research on the employers attending
- Have some general questions to ask the employers, e.g. what's the work culture like? What roles are available?
- Remember to bring along your college ID card to be scanned as you enter the fair, there's no need to pre-register
What should I wear?
There is no set dress code, but remember you are there to meet real-life employers. No need to wear a suit, but a shirt and smart jeans will look better to a potential employer than a snapback and trackies!
I'm an International student. Can I work?
If you're an international student, please check to see if you have proof of right to work in the UK and/or the terms of your student visa. To find out more, please visit the UKCISA website
Are you an employer?
If you are an employer looking to offer paid, part-time work for our students, please email email@example.com. All requests will be reviewed and we aim to get back to you as soon as possible.
The next fair will take place on: Wednesday 25 October 2017
Over 1,000 students attended the Graduate Programmes Fair in 2016 and we are expecting the 2017 fair to be even busier!
Who attended in 2016?
The organisations who attended are listed below. Many had several different graduate programmes available and 17 out of the 23 employers were offering placements and/or internships as well as graduate training schemes.
