Michelle and WaldoThis “Rethinking Creativity, Recognition and Indigenous Heritage” project and workshop builds on the research of Michelle Bigenho, including her book Sounding Indigenous: Authenticity in Bolivian Music Performance (Palgrave 2002), and Henry Stobart, especially his AHRC and British Academy funded project Digital Indigeneity focused on Bolivian indigenous music videos, politics and piracy. As part of this project he convened a roundtable at MUSEF (Museo de Etnografia y Folklore) in La Paz on the theme of Music Piracy and the Fair Use of Native Music on 18th June 2008. The Spanish language transcription of this round table can be accessed via the following link: Piratería Musical y el Uso Justo de la Música Nativa
