Rare Disease Day 2014

Rare Disease day 2014 took place on 28 February at Royal Holloway on the theme of 'Join together for better care'

The event was coordinated by Dr Rafael J. Yáñez (Lead Organiser), Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Biomedical Sciences, and Professor George Dickson (Co Organiser), Chair of Molecular Cell Biology in the School of Biological Sciences. It was attended by 120 school and 6th form college students.

Our guest speaker was Dr Clare Robinson, from DEBRA, on 'Living with epidermolysis bullosa - a patient's perspective and new hope for a cure'.
