Diana Warwick is a Labour peer and member of the House of Lords on the Procedure Committee. She has in the past sat on Draft Protection of Charities Bill, Works of Art Committee and Science and Technology Committee. From 1995-2009 she was Chief Executive of Universities UK, the organisation which represents the interests of universities to the Government and provides leadership for the higher education sector.  Previously, she was General Secretary of the Association of University Teachers, Chief Executive of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, Chair of Voluntary Service Overseas and a member of the TUC General Council.
