Rady Children’s Hospital is located in San Diego, California. Rady Children’s opened in 1954 with 12 patients, and has since treated over 2 million sick and injured children from all over the US. Ruth’s role as a Research Scientist involves writing research methodology, analysing data and project managing research across the hospital.

For the past decade Kate Cary has been contributing to the Warrior series under the pseudonym, Erin Hunter. The series follows the adventures of four Clans of wild cats in their forest homes. Kate wrote the first two books in the series, Into the Wild reached the Booklists Top 10 fantasy books for 2003, and is about to start her fifth Warrior series of books.

They give detailed guidance to government departments and the public sector on information management and advise others about the care of historical archives. Melinda is the Programme Manager for Accreditation of Archive Services.

After working as a lawyer for almost 30 years and suffering a serious stroke Gabriel decided to change his life and return to university. In 2002 Gabriel completed his MA and undertook an MPhil about humanitarian efforts during the Spanish Civil War. Gabriel is also a Trustee of the Friendly Hand Trust, a Christian charity that supports Royal Holloway’s History students.
