Join us in the Regent's Park home of Bedford College for this Bedford Society event where speakers - including a Bedford scholar - will explore the long-term effect on the lives of professional women of the Representation of the People Act (1918) and the Sex Disqualification Removal Act (1919). Areas to be covered will include - amongst others - law, accountancy, diplomacy, scientific enquiry and exploration.
There will be time for questions and discussion, as well as time to meet and greet each other over tea.
