Alice Zimmern was an English writer, translator and suffragist. Her books, including 'Women's Suffrage in Many Lands' (1909), 'The Renaissance of Girls' Education' (1898) and 'Demand and Achievement. The International Women's Suffrage Movement '(1912) made a big contribution to the debate on the education and rights of women in her day.
To mark the centenary of votes for women, Royal Holloway, University of London, and the UK Parliament have developed a range of resources and an online course exploring the history of women's rights and suffrage.
