Student satisfaction ratings revealed

The satisfaction among students at Royal Holloway, University of London has increased for the fifth year in a row according to the results of the National Student Survey released today (17 August).

Students gave an 87 % overall satisfaction score for the quality of their academic experience, with nine subjects scoring 90% or more.

Geography was among the high achievers with Human and Social Geography scoring top marks with 100% student satisfaction and Physical Geography and Environmental Science scoring 99%. Psychology and Music scored highly with 94% satisfaction rate. Biology and French were also among the top ranking subjects.  

Professor Geoff Ward, Vice Principal (Students and Staff), said: “This result is extremely encouraging and we are delighted that so many of our students are satisfied with the high quality academic experience we offer. Royal Holloway remains committed to ensure that all students have a positive experience. Of course we recognise that there is always room for improvement.  

Professor Ward added: “I would like to thank all 1,308 students for sharing their feedback, and thank staff for their hard work and commitment in gaining our highest ever overall student satisfaction score.”
