Royal Holloway and Bedford New College's Alumni and Giving Team has won a Big Give Christmas Challenge Award for ‘Creative Marketing’ following the successful matched funding campaign last year which raised over £90,000 for scholarships and work placements.

The Christmas Challenge is the UK’s biggest online match funding campaign run by the Big Give and the awards were established to recognise the best performing of the hundreds of charities that take part each year. The College’s ‘Creative Marketing’ award comes with a financial prize of £1,000 which will support the scholarships fund.

Charities who met or exceeded their fundraising targets applied and prizes were awarded in 11 different categories: 1st prize, 2nd prize, 3rd prize, small charity (under £1 million annual income), newcomer, UK project, international project, children’s project (sponsored by The Childhood Trust), arts & culture; best supporter engagement and best creative marketing.
