Media highlights

Professor Ellis has an extensive media career, working as a television producer between 1982 and 1999. He was vice-chair of PACT and one of the leaders for the 25% campaign for independent access to BBC and ITV. His commissions include Visions, Channel 4's first cinema series; This Food Business; Brazil Beyond Citizen Kane; and Riding the Tiger about the handover of Hong Kong to China. 

His many television and radio interviews include appearances on BBC 4 and Channel 4 documentaries about TV history, live Sky News and ITV regional news interviews and Radio 3 Nightwaves.
