Play! Festival

Play! is our annual festival of culture showcasing music, theatre, creative writing, film, art and more, created and performed by Royal Holloway students and staff.

Play! 2016 was held Tuesday 31 May - Thursday 2 June. The Festival had a ‘Lost & Found Spaces’ theme and was held across the Royal Holloway campus. As the historic estate is developed for the 21st century, students, staff and visitors were invited to explore our evolving campus.

With over 30 events including drama performances, contemporary and classical music, new writing, open air theatre, talks, tours and exhibitions there was something for everyone.

Information about future Festivals will be added to this page as soon as any details are finalised.

The Play! Festival is usually held in the penultimate week of the Summer Term. If you wish to have an event included in the Play! Festival programme, applications can be submitted in the Spring Term. There are also volunteer opportunities to be involved in the delivery of the Festival.

Play! is a cross-departmental cultural festival delivered by the Royal Holloway Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences.
