Royal Holloway, University of London, welcomes the public to explore its spectacular Grade I Listed Founder's Building, Picture Gallery, Chapel and extensive grounds. The Founder's Building, commissioned by entrepreneur, Thomas Holloway and opened by Queen Victoria in 1886, is modelled on the Château de Chambord in the Loire Valley. Its flamboyant architecture makes it one of the most impressive university buildings in the world.

The Picture Gallery will be open between 11am-5pm with talks by the Curator.

Guided tours of the Founder's Building and grounds will start at 11.30am.

There will also be an opportunity to join guided tours at Virginia Park the former Holloway Sanatorium (please note this site is approximately 3 miles from Royal Holloway, University of London, your own transport is required).

Tickets apply for all guided tours and are available on the day only from the Information Desk, North Quad, Founder's Building, Royal Holloway, University of London. Please note that it is not possible to pre-book tickets. Information Desk opens at 11am.

Refreshments will be available.

All welcome, guide dogs only.  Parking is available on campus.
