Members of the public, students, staff and alumni are welcome to attend all events. Accompanied children are also welcome and free of charge at most events.
How to book
Information on how to book is included on each event listings page. These pages will also provide information on whether an event is free to attend or if a charge applies.
Admission to all lectures is free unless otherwise stated
Booking in advance is essential, a booking link can be found on each listings page
All lectures are followed by a reception
Doors open 15 minutes before lectures.
Recitals and concerts
Tickets can be purchased online and a booking link will be included on each listings page
Tickets can also be purchased on the door. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to event start time to avoid disappointment
Information is given under event listings where tickets must be purchased in advance
Ticket price £12.50, concessions £10 (alumni and over 60), £5 (Non Royal Holloway students), FREE (Royal Holloway students, staff and children under 14)
Wine and soft drinks are on sale during the interval at many of these events.
A season ticket from the Department of Music provides free admission for one person to most evening performances (exceptions being events organised by the Department of Choral Music, St Cecilia’s Evening and Royal Holloway in Concert at St John’s Smith Square). A season ticket costs £60 which represents an excellent saving on full-price tickets and can be purchased online or on the door. The Windsor Building Auditorium is fitted with facilities for the hard of hearing.
