Royal Holloway students could volunteer at Olympic opening ceremony

There is still time for students at Royal Holloway, University of London to apply to be a volunteer performer or crew member in the London 2012 Opening and Closing ceremonies.

LOCOG are looking for 20,000 performers as well as volunteer crew member working with the costume, cast, props, technical and operations teams.

The deadline for applications is Friday 9 January. Details of how to apply can be found on the Podium website.    

Positions are for individuals aged 18-years-old or older on 1 March 2012. London 2012 Ceremonies says it will contact people within two weeks of them submitting their registration of interest form and you will receive an email with further information and instructions as well as a roles availability form and any application deadlines that may apply.
