Triometric is a specialist software and services provider to a number of the UK’s FTSE 100.
Access to IT graduates at Royal Holloway and the University of London was vital in building the company’s expertise and capabilities. And the campus location made it attractive to employees.
Through the Enterprise Centre network, Triometric accessed expertise and resources including a Small Firms Loan Guarantee, a DTI R&D award and bespoke training programmes.
Trimoetric is now growing at over 30% a year and has relocated to larger premises.
Abatis was founded by Royal Holloway alumnus William Rothwell. Its main product, HDF®, allows organisations rigorously to enforce a 'no unlawful software' policy on their company's computers to prevent infection to website visitors.
2iC software provides flexible battlefield interoperability which enables integration and coordination between independent systems. The software is also relevant in civilian sectors such as renewable energy, smart grids, telehealth and emergency first-responders.
2iC worked with Royal Holloway scientists on a Proof of Concept project funded by the UK Ministry of Defence. RHUL’s MBA students also reviewed potential new markets for 2iC software.
