Discourses of the Recruitment Interview

Project Description

Work on recruitment interviewing which involved ethnographic research including observation and tape-recording of recruitment interviews is currently being revisited from a conversational analysis perspective with (Nick Llewellyn, Warwick University). This is an extension of earlier work which investigated the ethics of the recruitment interview in Germany, the Netherlands and the UK using Erving Goffman’s Frame Analysis.
